I have been dating a great guy for about a year now, and we started dating shortly after my parents died of cancer. His single doctor friends have so much more time and money to spend on lavish overseas holidays and recreational activities, while every spare moment the husband has to spend at home, helping with the children and all the responsibilities that entails. The church is really good at putting on a happy, wholesome face to show the world, but if you look behind the curtain, you see that it's a despicable cult. We keep "waiting" for it to get easier, and every year it just doesn't.
