Feel good about your parents being in the house with you and know that statistics show that families living in a home together foster closer bonds between generations Dear Debbie, My husband is in his early 60s, fit and healthy. In fact my husband tells me often that I am beautiful.

We've all had times where we've wanted to spill the beans to someone, be they bad or good, but never did or can't for whatever reasons. Post a letter here, whether it's a Thank You note or something more somber. Letter to an ex? Mad at your parents?
I knew going into this it would be difficult, so I've braced myself, but I'd be lying if I didn't say there's a lot of disappointment that comes along with the relationship. Now that my boyfriend and I are beginning to talk about a future together, though, I realize that I need to consider this question of marrying outside of the church very carefully. I get to spend my life with someone who was not raised on fear and guilt and strict gender roles. You should be fine as long as you stick to the lines you have laid out. My sisters married to the temple served a mission etcв. At best they just try to include you in the community, and at worst you are constantly told that you'll be welcome "when you're ready. My nonmember husband and I have been married for almost 18 years. Thanks for the help. Nothing beats a face to face talk. But I love him so much.
